LATCH system for car seat.. according to this website, we can get a free install from Audi

It says Audi will install the LATCH anchors free of charge for the A4(S4 is not listed). Anyone have any experience with this. STFA only indicated that I could do it my self

i don't think they do anymore. might be a dealer by dealer thing. i got mine done free in 2003, have heard others had to pay.

As that was the year that the US mandated compliance with the latch system, AoA offered it as a free-if-solicited install. I just had the bar installed after my mechanic (AW: Tischer_Tech) mentioned it as my extended warranty was about to expire.

at Riverside Audi, he might has some of the original less expensive kits in stock. There is a post in the archives outlining the install, the biggest thing is you need to pull the seat bottom and seat back in order to get the bolts in.
