Leak and smoke after valve cover gasket change?
I had my valve gasket covers replaced and after it was still smoking, butt it stoped after about a day, but was still leaking, I was away from home for a few days and the car was just sitting, now when I got home I started ot up and seen it was still leaking, after driving it I opened the hood and it is still smoking. Can this just be extra oil still leaking down? Or do I have a problem with the car still

I am currently having the sane issue with my S4, and I looked around a little bit and noticed that my oil leak and smoke is coming from a cam plug on the back of the motor and is usually caused by over revving or shifting up at the redline often. It's a relatively cheap job to have done ($117 at a local shop for me) and it's not much to be worried about. I bet yours is probably the same issue, and if not it could be a turbo seal (not fun). I hope this helps!

I have a Audi a6 Quattro 2001 and I have smoke that comes out of the driver and passenger side seems to come from the bottom corners but I just replaces the cover gasgets and I don't know what else to do any suggestions?
