left-foot braking?

If you left foot brake, the DBW system will cut the throttle. Some have reported that if to brake, then gas, then brake (or something like that) it will work. The problem is that it that the throttle/brake trigger point isn't consistent, so it's not a very reliable method.

strange that a company with such a storied history in rally racing and performance driving wouldn't let you do that. I wonder if there's a mechanical reason the computer behaves that way. Does a chip upgrade change it?

Well, they <b>could</b> but nobody wants to assume the liability. I'm guessing that the whole Audi 5000 issue pretty much sealed the deal for Audi.

if brakes are applied AFTER throttle, the throttlw will be cut after a few seconds.
