Let's see, can a blown fuse cause no response from the controller on the VAG??

Default Let's see, can a blown fuse cause no response from the controller on the VAG??

I plugged the VAG to the S4 and and checked for codes under engine, got no response. Was able to get into everything else!!! Mind you I JUST PUT A DAMN APR CHIP IN THIS THING A MONTH AND HALF AGO!!!! NOT VERY HAPPY

Did you have the key in the car? Turned at least one notch?

yes it can.but you communicate with everything else?sounds like something burped[ecm],the stock unit occassionally does the samething.unplug it,let it sit,plug it back in,it should come back. while your in there make sure all the plugs in the ecm box are plugged in tight
