Level ten says that their Tiptronic upgrade will handle three times the HP and torque OE unit.
That would be 750 hp and around the same torque. They even offer a 6 month warranty with unlimited miles.
They say it will yield faster 1/4 miles times that the six speed ever will.
What do you guys think about that?

Well, the 6-spd. has the lower 1st gear...
...so just based on the lower gearing in 1st (which is so important in the 1/4), that would kind of surprise me. Not to mention that once you get to the end of the 1/4 and are about to shift out of third gear (in either tranny), you shift to 4th with the 6-spd, and you essentially shift to 5th with the Tip, because the gap between 3rd and 4th with the Tip is so huge (vs. close gearing between 3rd and 4th with the 6-spd).

Seriously, why can't someone(like APR,etc) come out with an affordable upgrade for tips? I already know the answer, but if it would happen, I'd jump on it in a second.
