Default lighten flywheel problem

I just bought a flywheel from ezclutchparts.com on ebay and it doesn't bolt tight against the engine.has anyone bought this flywheel from here? does it need a thicker spacer or what? the old stock flywheel works fine it tightens before it bottoms out.

Default Did it come with washers/new bolts? I don't know if this is related, but some of the LWFW

kits I've seen come with different bolts and washers.

Default Re: lighten flywheel problem

Check your alignment. When installing mine from ECS, I was having some weird problems. Seems the bolt pattern isn't perfectly symmetrical all around. Rotate it until it fits nicely. And there should be a plate included that serves as a washer so when you tighten the flywheel up, the bolts don't dig into the soft aluminium.

And enjoy your new found drivetrain noises. If you lug the engine a little, makes some funny chattering sounds :-P. Keep it above 1800-2000 and it's pretty much as quiet as stock but more responsive.

Default That is true, it isn't symmetrical. One of the holes is purposely offset a little so that it

can only bolt up one way. Had this problem with my fidanza, until I realized the offset hole. I was so mad when I thought the part didn't fit correctly...until I remembered that flywheel holes are usually offset a little to ensure the correct balance and such...but on a side note, mine didn't come with bolts or a spacer or anything. I just bought new bolts and tightened it up...no problems for me...
