Default Don't remove the foam under the hood.

It's a fire-blanket, designed to protect your *** in case of a fire in the engine bay.

Default from what I saw....

you would be replacing the the glass part(outside) of the sunroof with a CF piece, I don't know if it was still functional or just locked in place.

Again it was on a Dahlback car B5 A4.

Also I went to the Chevy dealership the other day and was looking at the new C6 vette, I noticed they replaced their glass roofs with some sort of lexan for weight savings.

Not sure where to send you for the battery it's been discussed here in just the last 2-4 weeks, I think there are two brands out there that the AW community finds exceptable, one was Odyssey, I don't remember the other, Not sure where to buy them.

http://www.dahlbackracing.se/english/main.asp</a

Stereo, A/C, HVAC, Airbags. If you're really serious: wiring, sound-proofing.

Default Get lightweight brakes and wheels for the best bang...

I just installed 328mm two-piece drilled rotors (aluminum hats) with Brembo calipers and lost 27 lbs of unsprung rotational mass. I also got rid of the stock wheels for a set of SSR 17X8.5" competition wheels and lost another 40 total pounds of unsprung rotational mass. Nothing... again, NOTHING makes as big an improvement to going, stopping and turning than reducing unsprung weight.

Under the carpeting, in the wheel-wells and under the car.
