Like I needed an excuse to spend money....
Seems I have a slight leak on the back of my tiptronic right behind the rear driveshaft CV flange. This is not ATF leaking... its gear oil. From STFA I can see this is quite common and one of the A8 owners has detailed how to replace seal. I have access to a lift so will replace the seal myself which involves removing the exhaust after the Y pipe.
The exhaust has a broken hanger so it would make no sense to put a 'broken' one back on, now would it ;-)
Seems a 3" Milltek fits the bill, now where is my credit cart ?
