I've noticed this for weeks now just never got around to asking. When i first start up my car in the morning I get this funny sound from my engine that sounds almost like a train on tracks (sound is not monotone its on and off, on and off) but when the engine warms up its gone. Is this something I should be worried about? TIA

I had a scrrp, scrrp, scrrp sound for a while after startup. It would go away when the car warmed up. You should hear the sound speed up and maybe go away as you rev the engine. If you want to take the time to muscle off a timing cover, you can inspect the edge of the timing belt. Mine was rubbing because the water pump bearing allowed the shaft to sag. When I got the pump replaced, it was frightning how much play the bearings had. You might want to check into this. It could eventually shred the timing belt.
