Agreed. I guess one nice feature of a good jack is that the company will always support it...
Which means you should be able to get the rebuild parts for it forever. That is a big advantage over the Chinese jacks.

exactly. I know i'll probably be able to service the HF jack for a bit, but when it goes...
...it's done for good. Where as the ACH floor jack should last and be serviceable forever.

Where is it you're trying to reach in the undercarriage? My AC 20 series jack can get to many parts under the car, and it's lighter and cheaper than the one you're looking at. I'm not uber-slammed though. I've never found a need for a longer reach...with this car. With another car...well.... One hopes this jack would outlast the car, so if you're trying to buy something with the utmost flexibility, I can understand that...esp. at the price you're paying for this beast.
