Well, after a year of 20-28psi on these things i can say two things:

1: they hold it.
2: they did not "fail".


HOWEVER. It looks like from the beginning one of them had a minor noise problem in low boost/0psi part throttle.

I would get this hooting noise that would go away with more throttle.


Seems air was passing though them and causing it. Of course they were passing pressure checks etc as it was the first thing i suspected.

Finally tossed on a set of VF engineering valves and poof, hooting noise gone.


So, they worked fine, didnt fail, but had a cosmetic issue. Something funny about one of them internally i guess.

Im gonna keep em around just in case.


So it wasnt: bad check valves, pressure issue with mismatched turbos, MAF housing, vacuum leak, exhaust leak, etc... Just a flaky DV that thought it was a flute.
