Hi all, I'm looking at buying a 2001 B5 S4 Avant with 132k miles. It has had all services done at the recommended intervals at a certified Audi shops its whole life and is in prestine condition, new valve cover gaskets, new spark plugs, new cam seals, new cam caps, 2 new oxygen sensors, fresh oil and filter, new cabin filter, timing belt and water pump completed less than 10k miles ago. As well as some suspension and break stuff. I just want to know if there is any reliability concerns I should have with this car soon after I buy it? It is also stage 2.

Somewhat difficult to answer your question. Most used cars for sale need some work. A complete hoist review and scan and some logging may help.
Your asking if a 23 year old Stage 2 B5 S4 with 132,000 miles will need maintenance? My crystal ball says yes 😉
Having said that, if it’s a good car and you’re up for the maintenance challenge then go for it.
A well running B5 S4 is a ton of fun 👍

I’m prepared to do maintenance, I just didn’t know if there was anything I had to do right away or soon after I buy it, given all the recent maintenance already done. Kinda want to have some fun with it before it needs anything lol

Post a pic of the engine bay.
Ask for a current scan of all modules.
Manual or tiptronic transmission?
Shine a bright light between the intake runners and look for coolant n the valley of the V. If present then the after-run pump is leaking.
