looking for the perfect suspension setup?
I've done some searches on different coilover and spring/shock combos. I'm looking for a setup that significantly reduces dive/squat and body roll but would rather avoid bouncy and harsh ride. I realize that the car will ride stiffer with modified suspension but I want somthing that is a little stiffer without the bounce and harshness. I also don't want to lower it much lower than 1 inch. If someone knows first hand experience with somthing like this leave me a note. Price is not that important, ride quality is with reduced dive/ squat and body roll. Thanks.

I'll second Stasis - got mine 2 weeks ago and it pretty much matches your list.
Ride feels as smooth as stock without roll/dive/squat. Give them a call and describe what you are looking for and what you want to do with your car (i.e. street, open road, track, all of the above).
Ride quality was at the top of my own list and I am not disappointed.

Ryan, do you have the VM1 or VM2 shocks?
If VM2, what rebound settings are you using? I have the VM2's and just re-adjusted them last weekend.
I talked to Paul a couple weeks ago and he gave the latest settings:
front -1/4 from full stiff
rear -8 from full stiff.
Mine were previously at:
front -1.25 from full stiff
rear -5 from full stiff
The new settings made a noticeable improvement in the ride quality. After changing them I realized the rear of my car was definitely overdamped.
BTW, I have 600/700 spring. Just curious if you're running the same settings.

VM2 w/ 600/700 spring rates...
I haven't adjusted the rates yet to the new Stasis spec's (though I've driven the new specs on other S4's).
I need to fix my bump stop issues first (doing it in the next few weeks), then I'm going to decide if I want to change my spring rates, then I'll adjust the shocks with the new spec's and spring rates (if applicable).
Trying to do everything one step at a time. That way I can determine what changes I'm making to my car. But first and foremost, i need to fix my bump stops...

You are describing H&R coilovers (street version)!
When people ask me how to describe them, that is similar to how I do it. Ride quality hasn't been sacrificed much, for the great improvement in ride handling.
