looking for the perfect suspension setup?

A 0.37" spacer is on its way. There are some differences in spring perch heights
between the various model years of S4's. This has also been noted by folks with Bilsteins. Bottom line is that 1 spring size for the rears does not yield identical results for all S4 model variants. This issue primarily effects fixed height suspensions given that you can usually adjust coilovers around the perch variations.
STaSIS has an array of spacers that can be installed in the rear end for the Street Sport suspension to make sure that the car gets to the desired 25 1/4"F and 25 1/2"R ground to wheel well spec they advocate. Paul has a formula for what size spacer to install to get various target height changes - it's not actually a one to one ratio.

Yeah, actually, the bump stop issue kind of became apparent on my car...
Stasis wanted to see what affects using the full factory bump stops would have, so we opted to leave them on and give it some drive/track time.
I'm not "on" the bump stops (though some S4 owners are). I have about 1/2" of suspension travel till I hit the first stage of the progressive bump stop.
I plan to cut a considerable amount from the bump stop, probably over 1", maybe even more.
The stock bump stops offer a 3stage compression, with the third stage being flat (no more suspension travel, the true "stop"). For me to get to this point, I have to be in hard cornerning, but it's affects are apparent, and I need to shorten them.
