Default Looking to try some new software (Stage II) MTM/AMS/ASP...etc

I currently have APR (And have for about a year) but lately I've been debating trying out some new software. Considering MTM, AMS, ASP, or Revo.

I like the APR but crave a bit more torque down load and think it tends to be a bit on the weak side and have more lag than I remembered the MTM having. Also it seems like there is some strange timing up top.

I tested the MTM software and really liked it but ran across a good deal on a loaded APR ecu so went with it.

I also tested AMS and really liked the software as it seemed to have both low end and high end but was worried (at the time) it was a bit on the aggressive side....starting to rethink that now.

I'm trying to figure out how the ASP programming compares to the 3 (APR/MTM/AMS) software that I've tried. I've not seen any dyno's or FATS and so all I know from the archives is its a GIAC chip with custom programming that makes the power of GIAC but is much smoother???

Car is a daily driver so I'm not looking for a ***** to the wall tuning but more so just a change.

Thoughts or opinions welcome?

GIAC is worth taking a look at well.

Default AMS FTW

Dead serious though - it's awesome. Not as aggressive as Giac X, has great torque down low, good upper end, and great smoothness. Never a hiccup with it either. Best software IMO and I've had APR, GIAC, MTM, and AMS. NO plans on ever changing unless I go Stage 3.

Default As a Revo user, here are my reasons for choosing them over the others:

No throttle cut, so that enables MBC only mode without the need for a TCD. Boost comes on super quick now.

Revo's SPS 3 switch allows me to change performance settings very easily. When it snows and I don't need 20 psi, I flip her back into stock mode. I got mine used for $150. Very cool.

Revo made lemmiwinks, so they have to understand something.

Downside: gas mileage is likely lower than the others.

Revo throws no codes when changing around exhaust (like when I removed my pre cats).

And, check out my sig for the last run I did, which was before I had a 3" exhaust and before I removed my pre cats.

i would try giac if your looking for a little more "*****" but a used MTM or AMS will be cheaper
