Default I assume that is chip only right

I may be in touch but it would be easier if it were attached to an ecu already.

Default Thanks for all the feedback...I may try to swap with a AMS box again...

and see how I like it...didn't really have much time with the AMS ecu in the car. I do remember me thinking it was pretty damn fast! lol I spent more time with MTM and I did enjoy the extra low end but found that I missed the top end.

I may also try to take Revo for a testdrive at the local dealer. BTW...can you do those flashes with a modified chip...I assume its probably a bad idea right?

Default Yes chip only, just need some standoffs and someone to install it...

and if you really can't get this done I can have our guy here solder it onto your ECU if needed.

Cheers,

Default fwiw AMS invited the turbo lady to visit.

it's sick, no doubt. BUT, when the snails go pop, do you have the $$ to go stage 3??

Default Yea I was just reading about that and it is the reason I decided not to go

with it...definately something to consider. I'm happy not dropping the cash on that right now. Too many other priorities

So you feel that Revo isn't as raw...I always thought it was up there with GIAC as far as programming?

Default don't get me wrong, of AMS, APR, and Revo (on the lowest settings)...

AMS wins hands down in terms of OMFG slam you back and don't let up power. I loved the low end shove, didn't mind the surge and difficulty to modulate smoothly. I didn't care too much.

My turbos blew after, ehhh about 14k miles on AMS sauce. It was right at the fuel cut for AMS, which is what, just over 7K? I can't remember....all I remember is a sudden SNAP"SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" and james bond smokescreen. DOH! I knew what it was.

Would APR or Revo or ANY chip do that? Quite possibly. Would I go AMS again? Only after knowing exactly what I was getting myself into in terms of boost levels and reliability.
