i was wrong there was a 2003 firmware update for RNS-D...

i believe the attached link is the most recent firmware... however i cannot vouch for it...

So 4 years ago and they are still updating the RNS-E

of course theyre still updating the rns-e...

its still installed from factory... dont think theyll never stop updating the E either...

bmw stopped updating mk1-3 units in august of 2003... and currently only support mk4 units (dvd).

when everything goes to harddrive and they stop using mk4, or rns-e etc... the market will move on and stop supporting those as well...

so rns-e has newer firmware??? yowzers... i posted the link bc i was under the wrong impression, and just correcting myself...
