Default Looks like a bad o2 sensor? CEL indicated

2 DTCs Found:
17862 - Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor 1 (G235): Short to Ground
35-10 - - - Intermittent
16518 - O2S B1 S1: No Activity
35-00 - -

I cleared it only a few minutes after it appeared, and it reappeared within a 1/2 hour.

oh, well.....add that to the list:

Turbos
fuel rail
intake manifold
throttle-body
v-belt
timing belt
water pump

anything else?

Default well the primarys are responsible for fuel adjustments

I've never personally ran my car with a primary 02 failure so I can't say for sure...tho I'd suspect it might effect performance (read subject). Maybe someone else has experience w/this.

Default I had what I thought were bad front O2 sensors....during downpipe replacement....

wanted to put new ones in but dealer was closed...I put in "off the shelf" ones from an autoparts store (we spliced wires to make the connection fit)...anyway, they never really worked correctly (constant check engine lights - something about the resistance being wrong) - the car ran perfectly - no probs for a few thousand miles until I got so sick of seeing the light I put stock ones in...now no probs...

I think the short answer was - I was running non-functioning front O2 sensors without problems
