Lost my boost

Lost my boost
Loosing boost at around 3,000 and when I shift it is gone completly. Is it possible that the maf would cause this? The tech said the computer is telling the valves to dump boost. I'm not engine savy but a lot of you guys are; figured I'd ask those more knowledgeable. Thanks

No to both. I can feel a difference when I change the chip from stock to program 1. Stock feels weak and program 1 feels much stronger but boost does not last and dissapears after about three seconds and no boost is available in the remaining gears or maybe very weak if any.

Hmm...see if you can find someone local to you to log your
actual vs. requested boost. Also, a boost guage would come in handy right now. You'd be able to see if it's boost you're losing or something else. You might have a torn TBB and going into limp mode. Without any DTCs, Logs of boost it's kind of hard to figure out what's going on with your car.
