If i replace the blown turbos with brand new k03's, will my car lose resale value...? Or would it be a dont ask, dont tell sort of thing? I need some help here.. Trying to cover all my bases.

it's a poor slob who knows nothing, tell him they're K04's. ;-) Seriously, though, shouldn't lose any value, kinda like doing a radiator replacement. K04's would actually decrease value more, ironically.

Some turbos go 60k+ chipped...some go 10K stock...and blow.
The K03 is flawed....bottom line....1 outta 5 will go no matter what.

...it would depend on the mileage, for me. If the turbo's died at < 30k miles, I'll look at one of the countless other S4's out there and flag your car in my head as a "potential" problem car, which is enough for me to hit "Next Page" in my search. If they died at around 45k miles, then I'd chalk that up to the individual tolerances of the dead turbos, and say, "Cool...brand new turbos that were installed by the dealer" (assuming it's still under warranty). I don't even look at anything over 50k miles.
FWIW. Keep in mind that these are my thoughts (and mine only). Other opinions may differ. BTW, I'm looking for a 2001.5 Santorin![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
