Loud creaking noise coming from front left when I turn the wheel at slow speeds or when I'm stopped.

I can also hear it when the suspension flexes at slow speeds, even while braking. I first noticed the sound once in a while about 2 months ago but had difficult replicating it. Now, the it's gotten louder and much more consistent.
Tie rod end? Control arm? I'm not sure what it could be.

It could be your tie rods, check to see if the boot is broken around the top, but more than likely it's the lower control arm bushings. There is a recall on the lower control arms. Call a dealer to see if you qualify and if if it's been performed.

I started noticing it about a month or two ago. It seems to happen the most when turning back and forth quickly. To me it sounds like a tie rod end, but could be bushings in the control arm too i guess.
So is a stop at the dealer out of the question on a recall like this?
thanks.
