Default loving the Labree/Borla sound **edit** need some help though

Finished installing everything yesterday, at first I was a little surprised how loud it was coming from stock, but now I am LOVING it!

During the install I noticed the lack of clearance between the passenger dp and transmission mount, about an 1/8" to 3/16". I tried to adjust the pipe with no luck. Now I have a problem with pipe violently hitting the mount upon letting of the throttle in gear. I got the pipes used, the previous owner had no issues, so I'm assuming it something with the car. Need some advice, what are my options?

(a) snub mount and DTS? May not be enough...

(b) possibility of blown motor mounts (would that explain the lack of clearance in the first place?)

(c) pull the pipe and have a exhaust shop notch it ..... definitely rather not do this.

(d) ?

Default Need to find out why they are offset. Mine went on fine and have ample clearance(on K04s) there...

its the connectors and Borla Y on my car that were problem areas. Adjusted it yesterday(tunnel heat shield, with a hammer) and it is better. No rubbing so far. It is very tight at the Y and the connectors could be tweaked to fit a little better but... has a nice sound =-)

Oh, anyone have an extra 3" Borla clamp laying around I can get? Need one to replace a 4yr old one that is about all stretched out. Would be greatly appreciated...

Default had to make the same adjustment to the tunnel heat shield

used the same method also. Sorry no extra Borla clamps.

I'm looking for some ideas right now...not too sure where to start checking other than motor mounts. I've tried adjusting the pipe with no luck and the driver's side has plenty of clearance....

Default One thing you could do... loosen the DP nuts and bend the tranny mounting tab on the

DP away from whatever direction it needs to go(the spring mount on the swivel at the tranny) and then tighten up the top. Here are mine, granted they were off the car when I mounted them. I had to bend the DP tangs on mine for clearance as well but they fit pretty well out of the box...

Default I'll try that, however it still concerns me that clearance is so tight

Anyway during install I slipped some washers between the dp mounting tap and the tranny swivel to get some more space, apparently no go....

BTW...test pipes....mmmmmm

Default Lol, I may have to run them for ground clearance if anything else heheh.

This setup is very close to the ground with the cats on, already scraped on my neighbors driveway(guy I went to with the lift to do some adjustments on the exhaust ironically)... wanted to come up and debug on the cats. No codes so things are good. may put the test pipes on once the clutch is ready to go... will definitely help with clearances, or I'll likely raise the car a little bit.
