MAF logs of S-Flo vs stock paper filter

Wasn't too impressed with the "improvement" of the S-Flo after the installation so I logged block 003. Then removed the S-Flo and logged with the paper filter. I have drilled some holes in the bottom of the airbox and have a stage 2+ car. Both logs were done within an hour of each other, same temps/conditions. I think I'll stick with paper.

Buy it from us?
You're entitled to a refund if so...
However, lots of other empirical evidence showing quite the opposite of what you saw.
Shoot me an e-mail and we'll follow up on our satisfaction guarantee.

I can't explain why it was worse
I expected it to show no gain if anything. Looking at the stock air box, only so much air can enter through the "snorkle", and unless you drill holes in the box to allow more air in, I can't see how any filter will compensate for this.
My findings contradict what another owner found and posted a while back. It did not work on my car however.

my only though is did you restrict the size of the filter by mounting it all the way down the s-flo
shaft? the coupling/hose for the filter should mount at the end of the tube to maximize usable filter surface area.

Logged this yesterday K&N...
K&N, GAIC X and Tip Chip. 93 octane, 88F probably 1500% humidity in FL sea level.
Sorry, no pretty graph but raw logs.
Assuming all equal, (no log showing paper though), Stock Airbox, K&N on mine max 269.75 Same as your "New" Foam filter. Can't feel any difference, but I don't have to keep buying new filters. I think K&N is alright, just don't over oil the thing.
Looks like I saved $150 buying a K&N instead of S-Flo, and I got the same results. "AWE, you got some 'splaining to do."
