from the instructions it seems to state that the MAF should once again be flush against the airbox after installing the s-flo. no way in hell is that working on mine.
is it really supposed to be flush? i have about a 1/4" space, and the clamps fly halfway across my driveway when i take them off...just can't be right.
i bought this one used probably 1.5 years ago and just now getting to installing yet (yeah, yeah)...i'm wondering: weren't there some early ones that didn't meet specs? i swear i remember reading something like that from someone..
anyway - this is no good, right? suggestions? i actually did a little dremeling on the inside of the airbox (the 'fins') and still this is the best fit i can get.
TIA,
