Default MAF Problems after logging, opinions please...look inside

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/65937/log_readouts_9036_image001.jpg"></center><p>I did this log in 3rd gear

I kept getting the folowing DTC's;

17547
17545

I am sure these values are low, I am at 3000ft above the sea....I am stage 2

Is there any upgraded MAF's for the 2000 S4???

Also how do you post two pictures at once???

Thanks<ul><li><a href="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/65937/log_readouts_9036_image002.1.jpg">O2 sensor graph</a></li></ul>

Try unplugging your MAF and see if the performance improves

Default Yes, it's ok...

There is a default map the motor runs off of based on the measured atmospheric pressure and temp. The car doesn't run perfectly efficiently, but not bad at all. Trust me, if your MAF is bad it's much worse to run lean.

You can't log the g/s when it's unplugged, but the car will pull much harder up top. Give it a try you'll see what I mean.

Default Yes and No, I go though a MAF every 6-10 months 8^ (

That's why Audi extended the warrenty of the Bosch MAF to 7 year/100k miles.

The ECU is dependent on the specific signal from the Bosch MAF. If it was changed the ECU would not be able to correctly read the Mass of air entering the engine.

Default Nothing out of the ordinary. Audi air filters used too...

Maybe I should say every ~7500 miles

The only thing I can think of is running a lot of 100 octane. *Evil Grin*

If it's one thing I know its how diagnose a bad MAF...lol. I've learned a lot trying to fix or diagnose this fine piece of German machinery. Would I give this car up? Heck no, you'd have to pry the keys our of my cold dead hand 8^ )
