Default One of the reasons I NEVER purchase the 1st year

build of a car, 2000S4, 1st E46 M3...etc...

Default That is why I own an 01.5 12/2000 build date S4!!!! AGREED.

but if you read some of the issues, man that's making the TURBO lady look like a fairy!

Yeah, but the 2000 builds are faster...so you missed the boat on a few tenths!

Default Guy needs to calm down. My dealer tells me allocations are being trimmed on B6S4s. Anyone else hear

this? They sell at sticker and less so I'm pretty confident it isn't a sales tactic for them. Was told just this week that it would be December before their alloctions started to pick up again... have 2-3 comming, say they are ordered cars/sold. Still pestering them to drive one.

They have had RS6s all over the place so think they are a fairly large volume dealer... 60-70+ new cars maybe on the lot. Same dealer also quietly told me to wait on the Toureg a few mos due to new car issues being sorted out. Dunno...

Agreed. I'm perfectly happy with an "outdated" car if it's relatively trouble-free.
