Default first you say it's the dyno, now you say it's APR's program. Make up your mind

you can only badmouth one at a time without looking like a fool

Default Here's my 2nd & 3rd runs, with ESP off...

And here was the 1st run (below). You can see how ESP cut power and thus I didn't reach my torque peak until after 4000 RPMs...

Default Given his 109mph trap, that's almost dead on

Run the numbers yourself. ~3600lbs, 109mph -> 371 crank HP on that calc. With the ~30% loss from crank to wheel on this dyno, you get 259.7wHP. Who woulda thunk it?

This calc is apparently adjusting for driveline loss, unless my stock 1.8T actually made 160wHP?

Click

How about some other evidence to corroborate the dyno's claim? Well, let's see. Take a look on s4biturbo.com at the time slips and mods. Stage 2+ cars are getting similar traps to Mark's car. Several cars have trapped at 108mph. According to this calc, that's good for 354cHP. The same calc gives Mark's car 364cHP. Going along with the established 30% loss from crank to wheel on this dyno, that would place the Stage 2+ car at 247wHP.

On Saturday, a Stage 2 car made 235wHP. That's going to be around 335cHP. Back to the calculators and timeslip database, and what do we see? Stage 2 cars making about 230-240wHP.

Things are looking pretty darn consistent to me. What am I missing here?

Default That's what I heard

It's a shame they couldn't get more runs in before the end of the season.

That 523wHP is pretty damn impressive!

Default just don't forget to specify pump/race on each of those...

my 109 is on Pump gas
the 2+ slips that ran 108 are on Race gas
the chipped 2.7T's that dyno'd were on Pump gas

Default True

It still shows that the KTR numbers aren't wildly off like some people would like to think.
