here is the deal. a boxster "S" is 49k base. optioned the way that i wanted, it came to 58k (more)
You can actually option a boxster "S" up to just over 85k. A base C2 is about 65k. i actually looked at one. optioned up it was about 87k. with a C2 they can run up to over 100k. the option sheed on these cars is about 25 pages. trust me when i say that a base porsche is a BASE porsche. Everything is an option. go to the www.carpoint.com site and look it up they have most of the options there. it is actually a good way of doing it. you get exactly the car that you want. if you don't want foot well lights you don't have to have them. if you do it is a $750 option. if you want the rear logo that says "boxster S" painted the same color as your car instead of grey (or any other color for that mater) you can have it for a mere $120. Every thing is an option. the type of leather, special colors (including sending them a sample of your own paint). Even if you want the dash to be wrapped in 12 differend deviating colors of leather they will do it for you. there is no limit to having your own personal look.
