Maybe dumb, but could oil cause FOD and flooded intercooler?

This is just something I've been thinking of: With the amount of oil I see on my bpv's couldn't excess oil in the intake hit the turbine blades and end up damaging them to look like Nasa's blades?
Also, anyone ever check to see how much oil has pooled up in their intercoolers? I loose a little bit of oil but instead of it burning off, what if it's all collecting in my intercoolers? Hmmmm.....

Air pressure probably doesn't matter as much as air velocity and once the charge air enters intercooler the velocity drops. I know i'll find oil puddled in knooks (sp?) in the tbb, bpv, so how about the intercooler? Plus the intercooler is at the bottom of the air track where all the oil will drain to. ![Frown](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Imagine 3 years down the line when the whole intercooler is blocked up. Time to take the bumper off and disconnect the intercooler to pour out the oil.
Someone want to come up with a realiable pressuretight drain valve?

short of running a catch-tank, instead of EGR
(which is illegal in just about every state for an OBDII car)

Could it have anything to do with overfilling oil?
Could that be the exact cause why some BPVs stick?
(As they were supposed to have some oil?)

and yes
I think this is why some stick
the oil is destroying the rubber diaphragm
WHICH, is why I've been telling you, that ALL bosch BPV's (110 included)
are the same ..the failure is in the diaphragm material not the seal or spring rate
if your gonna run Bosch..let the dealer buy it for you...don't waste your cash on them
