Default Maybe I'm just getting old but I'm getting tired of the harsh ride of my car.

I'm pretty sure I have at least one shot control arm up front and my rear suspension bottoms over large bumps with rear passengers. Now I'm debating, is it time to just let her go and look for something new or do I want to put more money into fixing the control arms and buying new coilovers?

Default Ride height is 25.5. I've had the coilovers for about 4 years and 60k miles now.

The bottoming is likely due to excess weight in the trunk from my stereo. I just need to find something with higher spring rates but I'm not sure if the higher spring rate will make the ride even stiffer than it already is or is the "harsh ride more due to parts that need replacing.

This is the first time that I hear someone call Stasis SS coilovers harsh.

That's why I'm thinking it has more to do with something other than the COs themselves.

Default True, but it hasn't always been this bad.

Maybe I'll just bite the bullet and have all the control arms replaced to see if that helps a little. I'm tempting to change COs at the same time since the whole suspension has to come out anyway. Right now I'm thinking Vogtlands or GTs but I'm scared of it getting even worse. I just want the rear to stop bottoming and the front to stop clunking.

That's a lot to ask of coilovers, I think you are due for a new setup.
