MBC in parallel with TCD gives you total control over boost does it not??

No. Assuming 1bar TCD and K03 X chip, requested boost will go below "actual" boost in upper RPMs...
N75 then would theoretically taper boost more than MBC only.
I used to run MBC in parallel, switched to MBC only later and can't say for certain that boost tapered changed much. With that said, I'm very happy with MBC only drivability so I see no need to have N75 back in the loop.

In theory maybe, in reality, not in my case (k04s).
Both GIAC X and ASP stg 2+ software. MBC installed in parallel I could hold boost as high as I wanted. Without the TCD it would taper.
ASP 2+ was a little funny since the initial ramp-up would hold 16psi for a second or so then climb up to MBC set-point.
Limp mode still worked (which is good for safety).

I don't understand what you're saying. You could run MBC only and lower the spike all you want.
If you want to customize the curve, you need an EBC. Mine is still for sale if you're interested. ;-)
