well there seem to be different types of .jpg work in some of my
image viewers, but not all.
regardless, don't think it's the issue. the server just foists up the picture file. it's up to the browser to translate it, i think.

In lamens...
When the picture is uploaded, it's just 0's and 1's. The server obivously couldn't handle re-transmiting the data (ie the pictures uploaded or copied image URL's couldn't be translated) on the AW's boards.
And in more lamens.... Uploaded or linked pictures couldn't work because the server didn't reconize them.
Hope that clears things up for the non-technical at heart. :-)
