Default Meet the STaSIS Engineering transmission testing bench...

<img src="http://www.euro-audi-parts.com/Stasis/transmissiondynoa.jpg">

Fitted with a high bhp electric motor, dual adjustable v-belt drive and an aluminum flywheel. Each STaSIS Engineering standard rebuilt transmission and close ratio transmission is run to temperature with fresh synthetic oil and then run through each gear from a standing start. Transmission testing bench in action:

She really gets moving in 6th gear!

Default Very nice!

I can imagine that it is very helpful at finding basic problems that can be fixed before shipping thus saving disgruntled customers and expensive shipping charges.

STaSIS certainly does take customer satisfaction seriously! :-)

Default If you got to the home page, enter in your vehicle year and information...

then click on the Transmission link on the left hand side of the page. You will then see links for 01E Standard Rebuild and 01E Close Ratio Rebuild.

Default Better watch out, she's frisky and she's been known to give lots of rides...

PS. She does have a name around the shop.

Default Hmm, no load? No offence, but is that really a "full" test?

I think you'd at least need to put some type of load on all three outputs to fully test them.
