Default Mentioned to my tech how the S4's were being stolen...
...he seemed to indicate that even with the door punch to fool the alarm system, the late model 2001's and 2002's that are equipped with the immobilizer would still prevent theft. He's won the Audi Technician Challenge recently, so he's usually spot-on accurate about anything on these cars.

Nope. The alarm has a starter kill, but the alarm is disarmed by forcing the door lock.

Default Aren't Immobilizers tied in with the ECU?
If so, why don't we need to send in your ECU to get "cloned" like the TT guys have to?

Default Thanks for the install by the way. Car is running very strong now. Time for some water injection kit
bigger turbo, air to water intercooler, etc... Is it ever going to end?

I don't think so. hahaha Knowing Mark doesn't help either
