I went up to Lime Rock on Saturday to watch the Prototypes run and it was a great day but i have to say that half the fun is the drive up especially when on RT22, great road to drive and usually only patrolled by LEO's with Radar (knock on wood). On the way home I followed a new Merc C63 out of the parking lot and was with him almost the entire way home. I have to say the S4 impressed me with some friendly pulls against the C63. in the dozen or so times that we were able to go through the gears I was able to totally hang in there pretty well never losing more then a car length or so. I do have to say that the C63 sounds FANTASTIC....I mean really nice. It was a great drive home and he was totally mature in his driving. As I have gotten older I really do not like encounters like this on public roads because it is usually a kid who gets too "entusiastic" and proceeds to drive like an idiot but we just had our fun where it was "safe" and showed respect to other drivers when they were around.

So was I especially after looking at the STAT's of the C63...that thing is an animal.

Sounds like fun. Don't kid yourself though, he was holding back. C63 detroys the C55. I had a C55 and it walked my stage I pretty well. If it made sense, I would have the c63 to go with my III- right now. It is a real nice highway cruiser and the seats are great.
