Default Metal/Aluminum Skid Plate

I know many of us were discussing this a while back and I've decided that I'm not putting up with the plastic piece anymore.

Brian [bjowett] mentioned a while back that he'd be building one <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/458439.phtml" target="_blank">here</a> but I never saw a subsequent thread.

Daphne mentioned it as well <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1255468.phtml" target="_blank">here</a> as well but also never had a subsequent thread.

I'd really like to have one made, and if anyone has a design spec [mounts, vents, etc] it would be greatly appreciated.

The plastic belly pan really isn't meant to be a skid plate.

Default I would love to see pics of Daphne's! My hubby has

done alot of fab work and I want him to make one. I've been driving around without my plastic one on since we built the oil cooler in!

That's why I'm looking for something a little 'sturdier' for these Boston roads. ;-)

Default I know you were interested...

Did you ever get any additional info from Daphne regarding the one she had fabricated? I guess the best bet right now would be to contact her, huh?

BTW - Did you sell your car? ;-)
