MI to VT this xmas...any suggestion for the long trip?

Default MI to VT this xmas...any suggestion for the long trip?
Never ever have I had a chance to take a trip this long distance...
Anything I need to watch out on the way?

I'm plan is to go MI-DC, DC-Philly, Philly-NY, NY-Boston, Boston-VT (snowboard trip mainly). And on the way back VT-MI straight.

Here comes another question. Say, if tinted window is allowed in 1 state but not in the other, can cops harrass me for that in the state that tinted front windows are prohibited?

Any info appreciated!

get a front end cover for your car and put a sticker on your window that says VT sucks/MI rocks.
