michelin pilot sport stock tire feedback anyone ? ( they put them on all 2001.5 and on )

Don't do it. Don't get the tire. It is only marginally better than the P6000s that I had...
Granted, grip levels were higher (most probably because of a bit wider tire, softer compound, and 18" fitment), but the tire itself is mediocre at best. I don't know about wet traction just yet, but when the tire is all gooey, it gets greasy just like the RE040
If you can still find them, I'd go with the S-02's or even S-03s

No, you are correct. I may have misinterpreted his post. But either way, Michelin sucks.
I'd opt for the Pirelli because if nothing else, they are more predictable than the 18" Michelin Pilot Sports that I have.
