MIL flashes for a couple of seconds
When the MIL comes on does it log an error with the OBD and is this error stored. I.E. I would like the hard evidence there is a problem prior to taking the car in.

May have stored code, may not
I once had a strange engine sputter and the ECP light went on for a second or less, power died totally and then it came back to life, no codes, no nothing. It happened as I was turning at an intersection, it has not happened again (yet?).
