Default Misfire in Cyl5, replaced CP, didn't help...

So, I posted a couple days ago about the AR running very rough (I know this isn't the AR forum, but it's the same engine and there is alot more traffic here lol). I scanned it, and it showed cylinder 5 was misfiring. No biggie, so I buy a new coilpack and throw it in...but it's STILL running like crap and misfiring on the same cylinder.

What the heck else could it be?

I'm no spark plug expert, but it seemed okay to me <shrug>

Default Not that I've ever done this before<wink> but if you removed more than one CP

re-check CP to cyl. orientation. I somehow swapped 1 and 2 and while it ran, it ran like ****. Anyone but you work on the car just before the original misfire?

Default Swap plugs 4 and 5. See if the misfire follows the plug...

Double check plug gaps too. I doubt it's the igniters, but swap igniters on top of air box and see if the misfire changes to the other bank (cyl 1,2, or 3).

Could be the injector too. GL!

Default is there a particular section of the harness that show the high resistance? is there a way

to test this beside the expensive audi harness tool?
