Default Misfires at idle

car just sits there at idle rocking the whole car and bam bam bam, one misfire after another. when driving it's okay but at idle it's a different story. before i take it to the dealer with an expired warranty and a chip I was wondering what you guys thought.

thanks

Default they will say it's normal, they will say it's lean misfires as they leaned the car

out quite a bit for the EPA testing to sell the car in the US.

It's normal, whether the above is the real answer who knows, probably just smoke.

Default Re: Misfires at idle

The plugs were changed only 10K miles ago so I'm leaning towards the coilpacks. the codes it's throwing are "random misfires detected" "misfire detected in cylinder 6" "misfire detected in cylinder 5" "misfire detected in cylinder 2"....
