Is mixing 5w30 and 0w30 OK?

Is mixing 5w30 and 0w30 OK?
I burned about 1/2 quart of oil since I bought my car at the end of November (about 2000 miles ago). Checked my oil level on Thursday and noticed that it was quite low. The gas station by my house, however, only carried Mobil 1 5w30, so I just added a 1/2 quart. Was it OK that I did this? Or should I change my oil right away? Thanks for your input. This question's pretty darn stupid, but I'll feel even dumber if I end up f*cking up my engine.

probably isn't going to hurt anything...
but i wouldn't make a practice of it.
i remember reading somwhere that you shouldn't mix - but i don't recall if it was about mixing between 2 different manufacturers or mixing different weights.

Old info. All modern synthetics can be mixed with dino oil.
Also all weights can be mixed and since both 5w30 and 0w30 are both within Audi spec then it is fine.
