this is a good friend of mine, and i adore his car (same as my old one), so i won't talk (too much) smack. he has a 99' E36 M3 with DINAN exhaust, cold air induction, and throttle body. so we lined up at a light after doing some fly-by's on eachother. We both launched, I nailed it for once and jumped on him so badly that he got in back of me at the next light where the right lane was wide open
I feel good

Yeah, most E36 that have 'small' bolt on parts can't hang with a chipped S4.
Sometimes it is up to the driver.
you friend should have tried to race again. Who knows what the outcome could have been.

There is no way in he!! a E36 w/ "small" bolt-on's would come close to a chipped S4. How do I know? I've driven and raced both.
E36 M3 5-speed w/ cold air, B n B exhaust, Dinan chip. Destroyed w/ APR chip only, it might have been a little closer at sea level.
E46 M3 now that's a different story...8^)
