I never met him, but I always felt a kinship because he was as devout a Steeler fan as I. He once posted a very complimentary message to a post I wrote several years ago and his words carried a lot of weight with me.
O.W. Kenobi was always fond of saying the first mod anyone does with their car should be to take a driving course. I'll honor him by interpretting his words to also mean you should always look to improve yourself first before anything outside of your immediate control.
