Default See right there you're making a huge assumption. I'll spare you the vague EF comments of...

think and you'll figure it out BS.

Basically if your MAF scaling is on the large side (Ie. you're running a 90mm and not flowing alot) The MAF/Load output seen by the ECU, still keeps you in CLOSED LOOP.

It gets a little more complicated, because Throttle Position does play a part, but lets just say for fueling sake, it is possible to be in CLOSED LOOP at 100% Pedal and never enter the OPEN LOOP mode.

Default and with the GIAC X software

I have noticed if you get to 200g/sec you get into open loop quicker or at least at all. Check out my other post with more data you can see my timing / fueling gets better as I do this. Where is my stage III tip software ?

Default I understand this completely, but not sure that has a damn thing to do with this conversation.

I've talked about low MAF readings keeping you in closed loop at WOT before on here, just not pertinent to this conversation since BLK01S4 is flowing plenty.

Sorry, I don't see how your post has an ounce of relevance.
