Default Which is more accurate: speedo or OBD?

I have been playing with the diags mode on my air-con display - and no I wasn't trying to increase the turbo boost :-)

Whilst doing an indicated 100Kph (62Mph) on the digital display, the speedo was reading 66Mph.

Anyone know which is correct, and is there an updated list of codes for the S4 OBD? The RPM readout on c28 didn't work.

I've also just got hold of a Bel 990 radar detector, which seems to go off quite a lot. Can anyone point me at a list of commonly used frequencies which might trigger a false alarm? It seems to give a K band warning every time I go past a petrol station!

Sorry about the last post... Too quick on the trigger... Anyhow, I can't speak on the accuracy of the speedo, (still waiting for my S4), but I've had 2 Bel radar detector and both were pieces of garbage. The first would go off almost continuously until I sent it back to Bel. When they sent it back I still got so many false alarms it was almost useless. In addition, I sent it back three other times because the power input (on the dectector) plug kept breaking.

My recommendation is spring for the V1. I've had mine for about a year and you won't be disappointed.

Default It's just sensitive I think...

If I go past a real radar trap eg. Gatso or whatever the signal strength goes up to about 8 or 9. There's a lot of X and K band triggers at strength 1 or 2 which I just ignore.

I don't think X band is used in the UK for Police radar anyway so I may switch that off.

The V1 doesn't have Ku band for the mini-gatso cameras we have over here - that's why I chose the 990 International.
