Default More braking issues.....

Just finished installing AWE full brake kit and new wheel bearings all around on my '00 S4. Still have issues with spongy pedal. Here is what I did.
1) After installing all components, I hooked up Motive brake bleeder and pressurized to 15 PSI. Bled brakes starting at RR and ending at LF until no more bubbles.
2) Hard-braked causing ABS pump to kick in. Put car back on jackstands and re-bled. No more bubbles. Still spongy pedal, car stops like crap.
3) Just got Hex-COm tool from Ross-Tech. Activated/registered it and hooked it up. I cannot figure out how to activate the ABS pump with the module.

Questions:
A) Am I missing something here? I've done brake jobs on plenty of other cars and the brake pedal should feel rock hard.
B) How do I activate the ABS module and when should I do it? Should it be activated with the motive bleeder hooked up and a bleeder screw cracked open?

Default I get a better pedal when I do the old manual bleed (with an assistant) method.

For some reason, the power bleeder doesn't seem to work well for me. If all you have is a mushy pedal, try that instead.

Default Mintex are just a street pad.

You may noticed a little less initial bite than stock pads, it's in their nature.

They aren't track pads, and not meant to hold up in those conditions.

If it's just the initial bite that's missing, it's probably normal.

Me too, but I only bled them once and didn't cycle the ABS.

Agreed. Try to manually bleed the system the old fashioned way, with a buddy.
