Default Are the 42's(Delphi) you tested the same as the 42lb Delphi/Lucas units that Racetronix sells?

I am wondering because that's what I bought from Racetronix and this is what it says on their site about them(link below):

"Top feed disc injectors use a small disc with six holes around its circumference. The disc rests on a short chimney that surrounds a metering hole. As the disc is raised off the chimney by magnetic force, fuel flows through the holes in the disc, over the walls of the chimney, and out the metering hole to form a full, finely atomized cone."

Your pictures/video show a very straight/narrow pattern so I'd like to know if these are the same ones you tested. Do they have 3 holes on the bottom?<ul><li><a href="http://www.racetronix.com/621031.html">http://www.racetronix.com/621031.html</a</li></ul>

Default Do you still need to do the fuel return line trick if running 89/90mm maf and RS6's

with the 3 bar?

Default Yes, it's where I bought them from.

"6 x Racetronix Delphi (Lucas) Disc Injector 42lb/hr - 621031

Since Delphi's acquisition of Lucas Industries there have been some production changes.
Part number changes for this injector 5208009 = 621031 = 01D030B.
Color bands are now light blue and no longer can be used to identify the injectors."

Default I don't think so, but it could be close with a high flow fuel pump, only way to know is to put in a

fuel pressure guage and see if your fuel pressure drops 1:1 with vacuum applied to the FPR nipple. If your fuel pressure will only drop so far and stops dropping despite vacuum increasing, then you have a problem.

Default its an EV6 design, so it should be disc - EV6 info from bosch technical paper:

Later design fuel injectors [type code EV 6] use "director plate" multi-orifice
technology to better atomise fuel across various operating pressures.
These injectors allow more flexibility in relation to operating pressures without
compromising spray efficiency or fuel atomisation.

Default Nice, shame they are about $72.38 ea, so far :( I'm still searching for better pricing.

Although if my car keeps running this well and 032 trims stay around -15% or a little less, I'm staying put zoom zoom!

Default I can lean it out more, but it makes more power this way.

O2 voltages are around .88-.89 full throttle. Quicker at these settings vs the ~-10% and .87-.88 I had before. Drives perfectly either way, as long as I don't throw rich codes, I don't care. I'm sure some of the negative trim is from the difficulty I have getting fuel pressure down at idle/cruise, keeping in mind those 032 values are part throttle trims.

What injectors are you using? If you have greentops, they seem to naturally lean out at low injector pulse widths since they are a pintle design, so your 032 trims will likely be leaner for a certain O2 voltage at WOT.

If I get a chance, I have a wideband I need to install sometime soon, so I can get better info vs seat of the pants/ecux tuning.
