I have a 2002 S4 with the optional Bose sound system. It came pre-wired for a changer and I'm looking to get an MP3 changer for the car (since I don't want to ruin the stock look of the interior).

How can I tell if the changer is compatible? Does anyone here have recommendations? Thanks!

I have seen a few changers on the market that support mp3 and wmv files, but the question is are they compatible with the MBus or whatever interface the factory changer uses???? Anyone know that question to this? What are the options when swapping out the cd changer???

I looked at getting a Phatbox, but at $700... I would rather get an APR chip upgrade... Plus the cd changer swap option is less expensive coming in around $250

Yeah, I agree here.... I mean, if the Phatbox is my only option, I'll go for it, but I see a ton of MP3 changers out there. Which ones will work with my S4 Bose system? Of the ones that work, which ones get recommendations?
