Hi,

Yesterday I viewed a 2001 RS4 for purchase.

Owner has multiple cars and keeps the battery heads disconnected as he does not use the cards.

Car has MTM chip and exhaust. For the first 15 min or so, there was no boost. (he has a boost gauge)

Then it picked up just out of no where. No check engine signs.

Owner says this happens after disconnect, and long time sitting in the garage, and comes back when he reconnects after a 10-15 min.

He does not know why. He says he had the car checked with Vag, and there were no codes thrown, only the car was running to rich, until boost kicks in.

What could be the issue? do you recommend me to skip or figure what is going on out?

He says there is no issue with the original chip.
